What is different in United Kingdom

UK payroll runs on Real Time Information, so a Full Payment Submission has to reach HMRC on or before every payday, not afterwards. Employer national insurance is charged at 15 percent on pay above the £5,000 secondary threshold, which changes the cost of every new hire and every pay rise. Auto-enrolment pension duties apply once an employee qualifies, and contributions need reconciling to the pension provider each cycle. Construction payrolls often run PAYE and Construction Industry Scheme deductions side by side, so the two have to agree at month end. We prepare each run in your payroll software, with a dedicated accountant covering UK hours from our second office in Pakistan so the submission is never late.

UK rules that shape the work

RTI submitted on or before payday

A Full Payment Submission must reach HMRC on or before each payday, so we check and reconcile the run early enough that submission is never the last-minute step.

Employer national insurance

Employer NI is charged at 15 percent on pay above the £5,000 secondary threshold, so we flag how a new hire or a rate change affects the monthly liability.

Auto-enrolment pension duties

Qualifying employees must be enrolled into a workplace pension, and we reconcile contributions to the provider statement every cycle so nothing is under or over-deducted.

PAYE and CIS together

Construction businesses often run PAYE staff and CIS subcontractors in parallel, and we reconcile both sets of deductions so the payroll and CIS figures agree at month end.

Frequently asked questions

How much does payroll processing outsourcing cost in the UK?

Pricing depends on volume and scope, so we send a custom quote within 1 business day. As a UK benchmark, hourly bookkeeping and payroll support runs £20 to £55, while an in-house hire costs roughly £24,700 to £32,100 in salary plus 15 percent employer national insurance (UK provider pricing surveys, 2026).

Do you submit our VAT return or accounts?

No, and payroll is a separate submission in any case. We prepare the FPS and EPS data for on-or-before-payday filing through your payroll software, while your VAT return and annual accounts are reviewed and submitted separately by you or your accountant.

Do you cover UK hours?

Yes. Payroll is prepared from our second office in Pakistan on a schedule built around UK payday cut-offs, so the run is ready for your approval well before the end of your working day, cycle after cycle without exception.

Do you file RTI with HMRC or run PAYE on our behalf?

No. Your payroll software remains the submitter of record and files RTI to HMRC through your own account. We prepare and check each run, you approve it, and we reconcile what was filed to your ledger afterwards.

Can you handle employees on National Minimum Wage or with student loan deductions?

Yes. We check hourly rates against the current National Minimum Wage bands and apply student loan, apprenticeship levy and other deductions your payroll software calculates, then reconcile the totals to the payroll register each cycle.
