What is different in United Kingdom
Financial reporting in the UK is shaped by what Companies House and lenders expect to see. Small companies often file abridged or filleted accounts, which show less detail publicly than the full management accounts a director needs to run the organisation each month, so the two documents serve different audiences. FRS 102 and FRS 105 set the accounting policies behind the numbers, and a lender covenant sometimes specifies its own format on top of that. Xero and QuickBooks Online both produce standard management reports, and we also build in Sage 50 where that is your file. Reports are delivered by business day 7, prepared by an accountant working UK hours from our second office in Pakistan.
UK rules that shape the work
Filleted accounts versus management accounts
Small companies can file abridged or filleted accounts at Companies House, which show far less than the full monthly pack a director or lender actually needs to run the business.
Reporting framework
FRS 102 or FRS 105 sets the accounting policies behind the numbers, and we build the report pack to match whichever framework your accountant has chosen for the organisation.
Lender and bank formats
Where a loan agreement specifies its own statement format or a covenant calculation, we build that template once and produce it every period alongside the standard pack.
Reporting tools
Xero and QuickBooks Online generate the core statements, and we use Sage 50's reporting where that is your ledger, keeping templates inside your own subscription.

Frequently asked questions
How much does outsourced financial reporting cost in the UK?
Pricing depends on volume and scope, so we send a custom quote within 1 business day. As a UK benchmark, fixed-fee bookkeeping with management accounts typically runs £400 to £1,500 per month at higher volumes (UK provider pricing surveys, 2026). The number of entities and reporting formats you need move the quote.
Do you submit our VAT return or accounts?
No. We build the monthly report pack from your reconciled books, but statutory accounts filed at Companies House and the VAT return submitted to HMRC are reviewed and filed by you or your accountant, not by us, in every case.
Do you cover UK hours?
Yes. Report packs are prepared from our second office in Pakistan on a schedule aligned to UK business hours, and a review call, where you want one, is arranged at a time that suits your working day rather than ours.
Can you produce filleted accounts for Companies House?
We prepare the management accounts and supporting schedules your accountant uses to draft filleted or abridged accounts, but the statutory filing itself, including the judgment on what can be omitted, is your accountant's responsibility, not ours to make.
Will the report pack match a covenant format our bank set?
Yes. Where your loan agreement specifies a statement layout or a covenant calculation, we build that template during onboarding and produce it every period, flagging any measure that is trending toward its limit for you to review.
