Catch-up or clean-up needed first
Several basics are missing at once. A catch-up or clean-up project should come before any monthly service so the numbers can be trusted.
Estimates for orientation only. Not a LedgerBPO price or a promise. See assumptions below.
How the calculator works
Each yes scores 10 points. 90 to 100 means the books are decision-ready; 60 to 80 means the basics are there but cash or compliance risk is hiding in the gaps; below 60 usually means a catch-up or clean-up project before a monthly service will work.
Assumptions and sources
- The questions mirror the checks in LedgerBPO's Two-Tier Review, so a low score shows where a dedicated team would start.
- The score is an indicator, not an audit. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere unless you choose to request a quote.
What to do with your result
Below 60: start with catch-up or clean-up. 60 to 80: the monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation services close the gaps. Above 80: reporting and controller review are the next step.
Frequently asked questions
Is my score stored or sent?
No. The score is calculated in your browser and is not sent to us unless you click through to request a quote and choose to mention it.
What does a score below 60 mean?
Several basics are missing at once, usually unreconciled accounts and uncategorized transactions. Monthly bookkeeping on top of that backlog rarely works; a catch-up bookkeeping project brings the file current first.
Why does someone else need to review the close?
A second set of eyes catches miscodings, duplicate bills and missed accruals before they reach your tax return or lender. It is the reason LedgerBPO runs a Two-Tier Review on every close.
How often should I take the health check?
Quarterly. Books drift as the business changes: a new sales channel, a second entity or a new payroll provider each adds a reconciliation that did not exist before.
